Fellowship Ministry

The Fellowship Ministry is a self-supporting ministry that provides hospitality, food, and fellowship to the parish family.  This is done in the following ways:  On Sundays after the 8:00AM service the fellowship ministry offers coffee and a treat for fellowship hour.  After the 10:00AM services, the fellowship hour is sponsored by food teams.  There are several food teams, and each team has approximately 15 people.  On rotating Sundays each person donates a food to share.  The food team also agrees to assist in the serving and cleaning up after fellowship hour.  On the 5^th Sunday of the month, a full breakfast is served and prepared by a men’s food team.  Good Samaritan is known for having a great fellowship hour!

The Fellowship Ministry also serves to assist in several programs to honor holidays or just-for-fun events, like the Summer Lites program which provides much of the funding for all or our events.

We are always welcoming anyone that withes to join the Fellowship Ministry.  Do you like to work in the kitchen?  Do you like to cook or do other works with hospitality?  This is an open ministry always welcoming you to join!
